The idea to quit teaching probably pops into all of our heads at least once a year if we are honest. But this school year more than any other it seems more teachers are deciding to quit.
Quitting teaching can be a very difficult decision to make. I have quit teaching MANY times, each for a different reason. When we get to a point we want to quit sometimes we are just done. I have been there. I have also agonized and worried about the decision to leave.
For today's podcast episode I'm talking about what reasons have made me quit teaching and how to evaluate if it is the right decision for you.
In this episode, we talk about...
- My story of quitting teaching
- Administration
- Staff and Teachers
- Students
- Job Satisfaction
